Over the recent months a system that worked well for me has tipped over into the ‘someone get a fire extinguisher’ zone. This thing is the method of using a premade form for commissions, while it was nice when I was getting a request two to three times a month, now I get the same questions asked repeatedly, and larger projects I can’t keep up with.

I’ve removed my outdated price list, and filtered down the request form to a simpler system. Long term work is no longer an option for me, and will result in a polite decline in 99.9% of requests.

Smaller work is always an option, but my space and time is limited, you are free to request, but odds are you’ll have a better chance getting a spot by following the mailing list.

Sorry for the lack of response to many recent requests, I’ll go through and answer them all over the next week.

The work paid off though, right now I have two smashingly fun books in dead tree format just waiting to fill that void on your shelf.

Trails is a 220 black and white sketchbook featuring 10 years of art, as well as 50 pages of comic work. This War Machine is a 36 page full color stand alone comic, and features some extra design work sketches to round out the 50 page count.

Now to really show off why I’ve been lacking in updates, I have two major projects underway. First, I’m revamping the earlier pages of my five year running webcomic, BRINK. Currently at 27 pages, out of the 90 some I need to touch up for a printed copy of the first three chapters.

As if that wasn’t enough to do that, I’m also working on a second webcomic, Asis. This one updates on the first of each month with a few pages, as it takes me far longer to work on these compared to BRINK.

Over the [...]]]> There really is something amazing about the sudden jump from snow, to 80 degree weather that I love about New England. Now that I’m no longer in a daily battle of wanting to get out of my warm, warm bed, I must move on to the Spring Cleaning part of Spring I love.

Over the weekend I’ll be scanning and adding a ton of old sketches to the shop,  it’s long over due that I cull the five pound box of loose paper doodles that grazes under my work desk. Keep an eye out for updates.
